On May 7, the E. PA-NJ Folds of Honor Chapter hosted a VIP Reception for local friends and supporters to meet Folds of Honor through the story of the Gilbert Family. Ginger Gilbert Ravella, golf star widow and Col. Jim Ravella (ret) provided our guests with a unique look at Folds of Honor through the eyes of one of its many families. The evening began with an hour of networking and led to a presentation by Ginger Gilbert Ravella whose husband Troy Gilbert was killed in Iraq leaving Ginger and their five children behind. With the help of Folds of Honor, Love of Friends and Faith in God, Ginger and Jim are able to share their Folds of Honor story and their book “Hope Found.”
We thank all of those who found the time to join us at Melt Restaurant and to be a part of such a moving and wonderful event! Many asked how they could help with Folds of Honor and among our answers were to support our chapter by attending our events, joining our chapter, holding a fund raiser and telling their friends about our mission to support our military families. Special thanks to our members who attended this event and made a true difference in our efforts to raise awareness.
